Event Information and Arrival

- Volunteer Check-in: 6:20 AM at the Information Tent (pink label in below map)
Volunteer Check-in Process
6:20 AM – Check in at the Information Tent
- Check in with the Volunteer Team.Â
- Confirm your T-shirt size and collect your volunteer T-shirt.Â
After Check-in
- Find your assigned Captain.Â
6:50 AM – Volunteer Welcome & Briefing
- Attend a short event briefing led by the Volunteer Coordinator.
7:00 AM
- Walk to your assigned volunteer station with your Captain.Â
At Your Volunteer Area
- Your Captain will provide a role-specific briefing and training before participants arrive.Â
By 8:00 AM
- Be ready at your station to welcome participants.

FAQ
- What if I'm late on race day?
Please contact your Captain directly as soon as possible. Your Captain's contact information is included in your pre-event email. - What if I can no longer volunteer?
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by replying to our pre-event email or emailing burnabylakerun@gmail.com. - What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for the weather. We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat if needed. - Who do I contact if I need help on race day?
Please contact your Captain first. Every volunteer area has a designated Captain who can assist you with any questions or issues during the event.
